The easiest and most relaxing way to get to greece by car is to travel by ferryboat from Italy. You can find 'Camping on Board' on most ferries.
There are ships departing from Trieste, Venice and Ancona. More detailed information can be found on the websites of the ferryboat companies.
From Patras it is about 250 km to Finikounda. Meanwhile the roads are quite well-developed, so it is an about 3-4 hour drive.

By Airplane
Athens Airport: take the airportbus x93 to inter-regional bus station 'Kiffisou'. There are busses (approx. € 23.00) to Kalamata, Koroni and Methoni,
which is the next village to Finikounda (greek bus services www.ktel.org). From Methoni you can continue by taxi (ask for price first!) or take the bus
to Finikounda.
Kalamata Airport: This year the airport is served by Aegean Airlines. Not directly, but with stopover in Athens. There is an information desk in the
arrival hall that provides information on public transportation services to Finikounda.
